Terms of Service (the technical jargon) By using the Rapport
network community site, a service of Rapport Leadership
International, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms
and conditions ("Terms of Use"). 1. You must be an employee or
graduate of Rapport to use this site. 2. You are responsible for
any activity that occurs under your screen name. 3. You are
responsible for keeping your password secure. 4. You must not
abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other Rapport
network users. 5. You may not use rapportconnection.com for any
illegal or unauthorized purpose. International users agree to
comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable
content. 6. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any
data, text, information, screen names, graphics, photos, profiles,
audio and video clips, links ("Content") that you submit, post, and
display on the Rapport community site. 7. You must not modify,
adapt or hack rapportconnection.com’s network or modify another
website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with RLI. 8.
You must not create or submit unwanted email to any Rapport
Connection members ("Spam"). 9. You must not transmit any worms or
viruses or any code of a destructive nature. 10. You must not, in
the use of rapportconnection.com, violate any laws in your
jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
Violation of any of these agreements will result in the termination
of your Rapport community member account. While the Rapport
community prohibits such conduct and content on its site, you
understand and agree that RLI cannot be responsible for the Content
posted on its community site and you nonetheless may be exposed to
such materials and that you use the service at your own risk.
General Conditions 1. We reserve the right to modify or terminate
rapportconnection.com for any reason, without notice at any time.
2. We reserve the right to alter these Terms of Use at any time. If
the alterations constitute a material change to the Terms of Use,
we will notify you via email according to the preference expressed
on your account. What constitutes a "material change" will be
determined at our sole discretion, in good faith and using common
sense and reasonable judgment. 3. We reserve the right, in
accordance with any applicable laws, to refuse service to anyone
for any reason at any time. 4. We may, but have no obligation to,
remove Content and accounts containing Content that we determine in
our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous,
defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any
party's intellectual property or these Terms of Use. 5. The Rapport
community site makes it possible to post images, videos, documents
and text hosted on rapportconnection.com to outside websites. This
use is accepted (and even encouraged!). However, pages on other
websites which display data hosted on Rapport’s community site, a
link back to the Rapport community site or rapportleadership.com is
required. Disclaimer for the Forums: The Forums, and remark
functions, of rapportconnection.com are not affiliated with or
endorsed by the companies they may describe. The opinions expressed
on Rapport Forums reflect solely the opinions of the participants.
Rapport cannot effectively monitor all material posted on its
Forums and, therefore, makes no representation and warranty with
respect thereto. Participants of message boards may or may not
actually be whomever they represent themselves as, and the
information they provide may or may not be true. The Rapport Forums
are designed to help graduates stay in touch and offer an
opportunity to exchange useful information. We recognize that
people sometimes post messages on our Forums or make statements
that are misleading, deceptive, or downright wrong. They may do
this unintentionally and even intentionally. Please treat the
contributors here the same way you would treat anyone you had met
for the first time. Rapport does not guarantee the veracity,
reliability or completeness of any information provided in our
forum or in any hyperlink appearing on our site. Rapport will not
be responsible for any errors or omissions in articles or postings,
for hyperlinks embedded in messages, or for any results obtained
from the use of such information. Rapport will not be liable for
any loss or damage caused by a reader's reliance on information
obtained in our area, or in a hyperlinked area. If you don't accept
this responsibility for yourself, then you should not use Rapport’s
Forums. Please proceed with caution and do your homework. Copyright
(What’s Yours is Yours) 1. We claim no intellectual property rights
over the material you provide to rapportconnection.com. Your
profile and materials uploaded remain yours. You can remove your
profile at any time by deleting your account. This will also remove
any text and images you have stored in the system. 2. The Rapport
Connection undertakes to obey all relevant copyright laws. We will
review all claims of copyright infringement received and remove
content deemed to have been posted or distributed in violation of
any such laws. To make a claim, please provide us with the
following: 3. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright
owner or the person authorized to act on its behalf; 4. A
description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
5. A description of the infringing material and information
reasonably sufficient to permit RLI to locate the material; 6. Your
contact information, including your address, telephone number, and
email; 7. A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that
use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized
by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and 8. A statement
that the information in the notification is accurate, and, under
the pains and penalties of perjury, that you are authorized to act
on behalf of the copyright owner. Prohibited Content includes, but
is not limited to, Content that in the sole discretion of RLI: 1.
Is patently offensive and promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or
physical harm of any kind against any group or individual; 2.
harasses another person or advocates such harassment or causes them
to be fearful; 3. publicly posts information that poses or creates
a privacy or security risk to any person; 4. constitutes or
promotes information that is fraudulent or promotes illegal
activities or conduct that is abusive or threatening, ; 5. contains
restricted or password only access pages or hidden pages or images
(those not linked to or from another accessible page); 6. solicits
passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or
unlawful purposes from other Users; 7. includes a photograph or
video of another person that violates copyright of a third party;
8. libels or violates the privacy rights, publicity rights,
copyrights, trademark rights, or other rights of any person.
